Alltrol Valve Operation

Here’s the little dealybobbers responsible for those signature “clicks” referenced in the materials. Over the decades, after repeatedly rubbing against the steel clip, the brass disc begins to show noticeable wear. Those valves are no longer made, so those springs and clips are no longer made. The clicking softens then disappears. The clicking is not, however, critical to the stove’s operation. It was just a cool marketing feature.
