Cream
of Tomato Soup
- 1 8oz cream cheese (warmed
until it is a thick liquid)
- 1 6oz. can of tomato paste
- 1 8oz can tomato sauce
- 2 10 3/4oz cans of Campbells
condensed tomato soup
- 1 14 1/2 can diced tomatoes
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 20 - 25 oz evaporated milk
or half&half
- butter or sour cream
Combine all ingredients except
butter and milk; whisk gently until well mixed. Add milk and heat soup;
stirring occassionally. Serve with a dollop of butter or sour cream
on top. Serve 8-10 adults.
