Biographical Statement

I have done arts & crafts most of my life, starting with knitting, crocheting and drawing in the late '60s. In 1992, I was introduced to polymer clay and have been fascinated with the wonderful material ever since. Polymer clay inspired me to start a local polymer clay guild (South Bay Polymer Clay Guild) and create websites in an effort to educate people about polymer clay and to promote its many exciting applications.

Since then, I've had artwork published in various distinguished art books including ‘400 Polymer Clay Designs’ (2004), ‘The Chameleon Clay’ (2003), 'Making Beautiful Beads' (2002) and 'Wire in Design' (2001). I also won a couple of awards at Embellishments 2001, for a jewelry entry.

However, the greatest reward for me is to excite people enough to explore and expand their creative passions through polymer clay. That’s why I post free lessons on my personal website and love teaching classes that help people learn how to incorporate polymer clay and other media empowering them to make one of a kind expressions of their creative spirits.

My polymer clay artwork and “HowTos” (photographed lessons) can be viewed online within this website (
